Sharjah Residents Can Be Compensated For Damages Caused By Thunderstorms

Sharjah was hit with a massive thunderstorm that pretty much caused some significant damage. Trees and branches fell on a few parked cars and the strong winds pushed barriers into windows.

Thankfully though, insurance can cover the damages caused during the storm, according to Sharjah Police.

Sharjah residents can be compensated for damages caused by thunderstorms

Using the Sharjah Police app, residents can request a certificate to then submit to their insurance company for damage compensation

Sharjah Police shared a video demonstrating how this process can be done on the app. Residents who were affected by the storm can apply for the ‘to whom it may concern’ certificate and submit it to their insurance company.

Firstly select ‘police services’ and then the ‘to whom it may concern’ option. Then you need to fill out details about the damages, where and when it happened, photos and ownership and insurance.
