In an impressive feat, Sharjah taxis have transported more than 2.7 million passengers during the first half of the year. A remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about the city’s thriving transportation network. Talk about a wild ride!

Sharjah taxis recorded an average of 15,000 daily passengers

As a venture under Sharjah Asset Management, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, the company accomplished a significant milestone by transporting over 102,000 passengers during the Eid Al Adha holiday period, showing an impressive 20% increase compared to the previous year.

Additionally, during Eid, Sharjah Taxi witnessed a record-breaking number of users at Sharjah International Airport, with a total of 23,476 passengers opting for their services for airport travel, as stated by the company.

According to Khalid Al Kindi, the Acting General Manager of Osool Transport Solutions, Sharjah taxi is on a mission to go green and aims to switch their entire fleet to eco-friendly hybrid vehicles that run on both fuel and electricity.
