The additional day off allowed for more personal time, reduced family expenses and influenced positive physical and mental wellbeing

Students were more motivated to learn, participated in more extracurricular activities, developed problem-solving skills, socialized with friends more, and had better time-management skills.

Parents were saving costs on transportation, fuel, food, utilities and on healthcare services. In addition, parents had a better work-life balance, felt happier, relaxed and were able to spend more time with family.

Educators too were able to manage work priorities, felt more motivated, productive and felt less pressure. They were able to spend more time with family, participate in activities, and had an improved work-life balance.
