The Sharjah Ruler’s Rapid Response To An Elderly Person’s Call Wins Hearts

In a call on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority’s Direct Line, an elderly resident made some comments regarding the cost of her health treatments. She said she is under the sponsorship of Al Buhairah Insurance Company through her son who is a Sharjah government employee.

HH Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah heard this call and responded almost immediately with a solution for Umm Khalid

His Highness confirmed that the elderly can obtain full FREE treatment services at the University Hospital including transportation

He stated that the free treatment will even cover the cost of transportation to and from the hospital.

In the call he said she can go ahead and cancel Umm Khalid’s health insurance and her treatment will be covered by the University Hospital. From their arrival until their discharge, elderly residents can take full advantage of the free health service, without the need for any insurance company, he added.

This is the kind of instant compassionate response that makes His Highness very admired and respected.
