Cricket player Mandeep Singh has sadly passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, leaving his colleagues sad and in shock.

The UAE cricket community is in shock after the sudden death of Mandeep Singh, a beloved team member as his team is struggling to accept the loss after the tragic events on Thursday night, June 20.

During the match, Mandeep felt unwell and decided to rest. His teammates helped him cool down and gave him refreshments. Although he felt better, he chose not to continue playing and went home with his teammates. On the way, he complained of shortness of breath and collapsed in the car.

His teammates stopped the car, performed CPR, and called an ambulance. Emergency responders arrived and tried to revive him before rushing him to Al Daid Hospital, where he was declared dead. The cause of his death is suspected to be heat exhaustion, but it is not yet confirmed.
