An Afternoon Tea On Jumeirah Road Is Unlike Any Afternoon Tea You’ve Seen Before

Avatar

An afternoon tea with a twist has arrived on Jumeirah Road.

Dubbed the ‘Ottoman Afternoon Tea’, it’s a fun blend of your usual afternoon tea favourites (think plenty of cakes and Acma scones) with a mix of Turkish treats, perfect for two people.

You’ll find the picnic-basket style chest at Mado, the authentic Turkish restaurant in Jumeriah, here’s what you need to know…

You’ll love the out-of-the-box presentation

This is no ordinary afternoon tea.

Choose this Mado speciality and you’ll be served up a unique picnic-basket style chest, wrapped in a big bow. After you’ve grammed the box, (let’s be honest, it’s an Insta dream) two sliding trays will reveal the feast that awaits.

Arrive hungry…

There’s a mix of savory and delectable sweet treats

Mouth-watering munch awaits… think salmon cream cheese sandwiches in dill bread, both halloumi orange with mint and chicken caesar sandwiches in Acma bread, fruit tartlets, strawberry cheese cake, delicious dark and white chocolate cake pops, oozing banana caramel pudding and finally homemade Acma scones stuffed with pomegranates served with an incredible Turkish clotted cream.

The mountain of food comes with freshly squeezed juice and unlimited Turkish tea.

So good there’s even a video…

The finer points…

You’ll find the Ottoman Afternoon Tea at Mado in either the Jumeirah or Sharjah branch

It’s available everyday between 3pm and 6pm for just AED145

Pass through the Mado market and find the restaurant tucked beyond, where the unique afternoon experience awaits
