A baby was born in a taxi in Sharjah a few days back, according to a report by ARN News Centre on Monday.

The boy’s birth took place shortly before the taxi arrived at Medcare Hospital.

Fortunately, the taxi driver was swift with action and sounded his horn upon arriving at the hospital which had alerted Medics.

The boy was born 2.6kgs and perfectly healthy. Both the mother and child have since been discharged from the hospital.
