There Are Some Changes Being Made To Parking Fees In Sharjah
Starting April 1, parking is going to cost you more in Sharjah.
Sharjah Municipality has announced residents and motorists will have to pay for parking through the afternoon – that will come into effect from April 1, 2017.
At present, residents enjoy a four-hour free parking period, from 1pm to 5pm, but not for long. It will be charged at the same hourly rate as throughout the day.
Earlier in 2016, Dubai removed a similar free afternoon parking period on May 28, with parking hours in the Dubai now running straight from 8am to 10pm on working days.
