An Air Arabia Flight Out Of Sharjah Was Grounded Due To A Bird

An Air Arabia flight was grounded on Sunday, after a bird struck the plane, according to reports. 

The Airbus A320, flying out of Sharjah, due for Coimbatore in India, was struck by what is reported to be a peacock, during landing. 

The plane was grounded, and the return flight was delayed 15 hours while the plane was repaired. 

No one was reported injured

Passengers due on the return flight were accommodated and assisted, according to representatives from Air Arabia.
