Dubai Roads Have Speed Limits That All Drivers Need To Be Continually Aware Of

 LOWER speed limits were introduced on roads across Dubai in a targeted effort to maintain road safety and reduce accidents.

The limits were changed last January

Dubai – Al Ain road – reduced to 100km/h (radar limit 120km/hr). Previously 140km/h with radar limit 120km/h

Umm Suqeim – reduced to 100km/h from 110km/h

Dubai Police Academy flyover on SZR – reduced to 80km/h from 100km/h

Al Qudra road and various roads in Oud Metha reduced to 90km/h from 110km/h

Al Sufouh Road – reduced to 60km/h with radar limit of 80km/h from 80km/h with radar limit of 100km/h.

Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah have seen changes in traffic rules too

Including new traffic lights, radars and speed cameras. This is an important by Dubai police to provide safer roads across all Emirates.
