In some good news for the day an elderly woman was reunited with her family after she lost her way while visiting her son.
Sharjah police came to her aid after she was directed to them by a concerned citizen.
The 75 year old woman was found wandering the streets
She appeared tired and confused when a passer by noticed her.
An Emirati woman approached the elderly lady to offer her help.

The Emirati lady then accompanied the elderly woman to the Sharjah Police
The Sharjah Police provided care and assistance to the 75 year old while the tried to track down her family.
They were able to successfully identify the woman’s family and reunite her with her son.
Her son thanked the police and public for their help in reuniting him with his mother.
The police have urged people to pay attention to their elderly relatives and to refrain from leaving them alone in any circumstances.
