Emirati Father Ensures Daughter Receives Traffic Fine After Police Record The Incorrect Number Plate
An Emirati man from Ajman went to the police in Sharjah to correct a mistake they had made in issuing a traffic fine.
His daughter had committed the traffic violation but a mistake in recording the number plate of the vehicle meant that a different individual would of received the fine.
His daughter admitted her mistake to him
While on a main road she had blocked oncoming traffic in Sharjah’s Muwaileh area.
When recording the offence the licence plate of a different vehicle was recorded and so an innocent motorist was penalised with the fine.
