A jet ski company in Sharjah has been accused of scamming customers on Trip Advisor, after several people lost security deposits. 

Warnings against renting the jet skis have been issued previously, however the issue appears to be ongoing with many people posting reviews in the past six months. 

The issue has even happened recently, with one renter telling Lovin Dubai: 
“We saw multiple cases while we were there. I thought it was probably my fault but then we met other people with the same issue. Once I got back and researched the issue, I found several others with the same story.”

A probe into Trip Advisor reviews shows concerns

However the most recent view on the site is positive

Residents and tourists are warned to only rent from licenced vendors, and not to leave credit card details with the jet ski operators. 

One user said he has had positive experiences by following some set guidelines
