Distressing Footage Of The 16 Metre Whale Found Off The Coast Of A UAE Beach On Monday
The body of a 16 metre long Humpback whale was found by fishermen off the coast of Khor Fakkan beach, Sharjah on Monday morning.
Local fishermen informed authorities at approximately 6am and the Khor Fakkan Municipality in coordination with Sharjah Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) retrieved the mammal from the water.

The skeleton will be put on display
Early testing show the whale died on Sunday and had visible injuries on its body, possibly from being hit by a ship, according to reports.
The body will eventually be buried while the skeleton will be put on display for educational purposes.
