At about 1pm on Friday, Etisalat users starting noticing issues with the network. It was first noticed in Sharjah. There was a technical issue on the mobile network, engineers at Etisalat worked to fix the problem in ‘record’ time. Service was resumed in some areas of the UAE immediately, while others took up to 90 minutes. The Du network was not effected.
