The body of a new born baby girl has been tragically found in a Sharjah landfill.

The body was just two days old.

An employee on duty at the Al Sajjah landfill discovered the body and reported it to the police according to a report in the Khaleej Times. An initial investigation lead by the police, forensics officers and the criminal investigation department (CID) showed severe damage to the skull and a body that had been strangled.

Nobody has not been found in connection to the death at time of publishing.
