Tributes To A UAE Champion For Women Are Pouring In After Her Death In A Fire
A woman was killed in a fire on Saturday evening along with her 57 year-old mother and 38 year-old sister. Her name was later confirmed as 38 year old Ameera BinKaram, the chairperson of the Sharjah Businesswomen’s Council.
Bin Karam is well recognised in the UAE for her support to Arab women’s empowerment and leadership. Among her key focuses were humanitarian, animal and environmental issues.
