An Arab man has apologised after his voice note about car thefts in the UAE created panic among other residents.
The man was trying to alert people about gangs of robbers in the area who were reportedly breaking into cars, however Police state the details were exaggerated.
The man was warned by Sharjah Police that his voice note created panic and affected the security of residents according to a Khaleej Times report. The man agreed and apologised for the note.
