friend was at a military training for eight months, a man borrowed a Mercedes S500 from him and then sold it without his knowledge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the victim, a 26-year-old Emirati military officer, returned after the completion of his training, he told the police that he was shocked to find that his friend sold his Mercedes car by using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenational.ae\/uae\/man-who-sold-friend-s-mercedes-after-borrowing-it-is-jailed-1.725773\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fake documents<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The friend, a 33-year-old man,\u00a0sold it to a showroom with forged documents and the car was later sold to another customer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The victim had originally\u00a0bought the\u00a0Mercedes S500 for AED700,000 but was sold by the friend\u00a0for AED430,000 at the showroom.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>The friend and two other accomplices who helped him forge the car&#8217;s papers,\u00a0will spend a year in
