Dubai To Allow The Operation Of 13 International Airlines As The City Reopens Its Borders To Tourists<\/em><\/p>\n

After\u00a0Dubai reopened its skies to tourists from July 7, Dubai Airports have further announced the\u00a0resumption of scheduled operations by foreign carriers at Dubai International (DXB).<\/p>\n

The 13 airlines resuming operations at DXB include Air Blue, Air France, Cebu Pacific, EgyptAir, Ethiopian Airlines, Gulf Air, KLM, Lufthansa, Mahan Air, Middle East Airlines, Pakistan International Airlines, Philippine Airlines and Royal Jordanian with more expected to join later.<\/p>\n

In addition to foreign carriers, DXB-based Emirates airline and flydubai have boosted their trips<\/h2>\n

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports clarified that,<\/p>\n

\n

“We have ensured everything is in place to welcome airlines from around the world back to Dubai as a growing number of bilateral agreements between countries conclude to facilitate the opening of borders and the gradual return of traffic.”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

“We remain in close discussions with government officials and airlines to support the resumption of additional services as approvals are granted in the weeks and months ahead. The message is that we are ready to welcome visitors back to Dubai and we will do our utmost to take care of them whilst they are here,” <\/em>he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Passengers MUST wear apt personal protective equipment (PPE), such as\u00a0masks and gloves and must\u00a0arrive at the airport no less than 2 hours but no greater than 4 hours before their flight<\/h2>\n

Travellers are advised to come 2-3 hours prior to their flight to allow ample time for any additional screening measures.<\/p>\n

In order to maintain public safety and physical distancing requirements, travellers without confirmed tickets, passengers without proper protective equipment, and passengers who arrive at the airport earlier than 4 hours before their scheduled departure time will NOT be permitted to enter the terminal buildings.<\/p>\n
