Say goodbye to masks! The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has released new COVID-19 updates today, September 26.<\/p>\n
Starting Wednesday, September 28 residents have the option to wear masks in open and closed spaces. Additionally, officials have overturned a previous COVID-19 update<\/a>. Now, students and faculty of the education sector are no longer required to wear masks on campus as well. However, masks are still required in hospitals, public transportation and places of worship.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Once again, the Al Hosn Green Pass extended from 14 days back to 30 days for the vaccinated and the exempt residents. Moreover, unvaccinated residents still have to test every 7 days to maintain a green pass on their application.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Those who receive a positive PCR test must quarantine and self-isolate for 5 days. However, those in contact with anyone who tested positive do not have to quarantine if they receive a negative PCR result.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nAdditionally, the AL Hosn app’s green pass extended from 14 days to 30 days<\/h2>\n
Lastly, quarantine is only for those who test positive for COVID-19<\/h2>\n
