The Government of Dubai announced today that HH Sheikh Mohammed,\u00a0
Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai has approved the contract for improvement of Tripoli Road, a 12 km stretch which provides a link between the\u00a0between the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and the Emirates Road. This part of the project will cost AED 500 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The project support another project under construction by the RTA; the Airport Road Improvement Project, which is costing AED 490 million (and is 30% completed).<\/p>\n

This will grow the capacity of the Tripoli road to 12,000 vehicles per hour in both directions<\/h3>\n
According to the Government News Centre<\/a>, The Tripoli road will be widened over a 6.5km stretch.<\/p>\n
