Sharjah Car Park Incident Caught on Camera Ends Up in Court
A routine day in a Sharjah car park turned into a courtroom
moments after CCTV footage showed a woman picking up jewellery from the ground and walking away.
According to court records, the item had been reported as lost inside a shopping centre parking area. Investigations later revealed CCTV footage of the woman exiting a vehicle, picking up the piece of jewellery, and leaving the scene without reporting it or handing it over to authorities.
Authorities were able to identify the individual through the surveillance footage and link the vehicle involved to the case.
In court, the woman denied any wrongdoing, claiming the item she picked up was actually her own ring and not the missing jewellery in question. She also stated she was unaware that any other property had been lost at the location.
The case is still being reviewed by the Sharjah Misdemeanour Court
