Last night a mysterious meteor shower flew over Dubai<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was spotted in Abu Dhabi and throughout Dubai, with sightings recorded from approximately 7.40pm.<\/p>\n

Comparisons were initially made to space debris that would eventually burn out,\u00a0however an Instagram from\u00a0HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a tweet from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre confirms that a meteorite flew above us.<\/p>\n

As usual residents were quick, to Snap, Insta, Tweet (and all of the above) their reactions and imagery, here are the best:<\/p>\n
