Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was one of the most iconic Saudi diplomats and statesman to have served the Kingdom
He served as Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister from 1975 to 2015
This also makes him one of was the longest-serving foreign minister in world history.
Prince Saud died at the age of 75 in Los Angeles, USA, after a battle with Parkinson’s disease.
A street in Sharqiyah has been renamed after him
Prince Saud was closely involved in philanthropy and was a founding member of the King Faisal Foundation, chairman of the board of directors for the King Faisal School and Al Faisal University, and also a member of the Society for Disabled Children and the Madinah Society for Welfare and Social Services.
