Jazz lovers, get ready—Abu Dhabi is about to become the global stage for one of music’s biggest celebrations!

Abu Dhabi is turning up the volume as the official Global Host City for International Jazz Day 2025

The city is set for a month-long celebration of rhythm, culture and connection! As a UNESCO City of Music, the capital will welcome music lovers from around the world with a lineup that’s as diverse as it is dazzling.

This year’s theme? Arabic Jazz — where local instruments like the Oud, Qanoon, and Ney meet the smooth sounds of global jazz. From April through May, Jazz Month will showcase Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural spirit through performances, workshops, and musical mashups that highlight the harmony between traditions.

The grand finale…

The All-Star Global Concert on April 30 at Etihad Arena! Led by jazz legend Herbie Hancock and hosted by Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons, this star-studded event will feature a world-class lineup including Arqam Al Abri, Dee Dee Bridgewater, John McLaughlin, Arturo Sandoval and many more!
