Abu Dhabi is officially launching the region’s first-ever dual-certified Bachelor of Arts in Game Design, and it’s arriving in the next academic year

This exciting new programme is the result of a major team-up between Abu Dhabi University (ADU), the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), and the globally known French game school Rubika. Together, they’re bringing world-class education, creative industry know-how and international expertise right to the UAE!

What’s the plan?

Students will learn everything from game development to digital arts. They’ll also have chances to join internships, mentorships and international exchanges. The programme will be hosted at ADU, combining hands-on experience with top-notch academics.

Plus, DCT Abu Dhabi will be funding up to 140 scholarships over the next six years to support future gaming stars in the making!

H.E. Saeed Ali Al Fazari from DCT Abu Dhabi said it best: this programme aims to inspire and empower youth while helping to grow Abu Dhabi’s creative industries and gaming scene.
