Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen Airport Is Closing For 2 Months

Avatar

It’s the frequent flying period across the region and the UAE is getting more and more visitors each week.

Abu Dhabi Airports has announced that Al Bateen Executive Airport will close its runways from May 11

The Airport will close for expansion plans and refurbishing of the runway.

The runway will operate again on July 21

The expansion plans will allow the runway to accommodate larger aeroplanes. In the meantime, only helicopters can use the airport during this period. While the airport is not operated by most of the public, it’s the first dedicated private jet airport in the Middle East.
