ClassPass Has Acquired GuavaPass Which Is Going To Shake Up The Fitness Scene

Fitness app, ClassPass has acquired its competitor, GuavaPass, with the two merging services, it has been announced, including the Dubai arm.

It means that members of GuavaPass will be migrated over to ClassPass, or refunded their membership, by January 14.

The two services were previously competitors, offering a monthly service sampling of hundreds of different gyms in Dubai.

Members receive access to a select number of classes at a variety of gyms around the city, paying a set rate for the access.

The acquisition is for all across Asia, but for now, does not count Abu Dhabi at this time

The statement from ClassPass says that GuavaPass will cease to exist in markets where ClassPass is available, but in other areas, where ClassPass is not available, GuavaPass will continue to operate until further notice.
