The UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has pardoned Bangladeshi nationals involved in protests and disturbances across the UAE last month, according to WAM.

Previously, 57 Bangladeshis were jailed over protests against own government. Three of them were sentenced to life, 53 were jailed for 10 years and one for 11 years.
The Attorney General urged UAE residents to follow the country’s laws, noting that while the state protects free speech, it should be used responsibly to avoid harming national interests.
