From a 15-minute long pyrotechnic show to forming the longest chain of fireworks, the UAE made history as it rung 2019 in a truly spectacular way.

Thousands of revellers brave the traffic, year after year, to watch all that the country has to offer in terms of festivities, fireworks and fancy laser shows for an unforgettable NYE.

And this year’s celebrations were equally dazzling!

The famed Burj Khalifa had everything from its much-anticipated top to bottom fireworks display, laser show and water fountain dance…the ultimate celebration!

Ras Al Khaimah rung in the new year with two world records- longest chain of fireworks and longest straight line of fireworks

As a tribute to conclude the Year of Zayed, it used 11,284 fireworks for a 4.6km long chain on Al Marjan Island.

The world famous Burj Al Arab fireworks illuminated the Dubai skies while the enthralled spectators looked on from the Kite Beach as well Madinat Jumeirah

People at the JBR were privy to two displays- at The Beach and on Bluewaters Island
