While some of us are complaining about unexplained back pain in our 20s and 30s, 84-year-old Michael Read is out here living his absolute best life.

Here is the breakdown of his winning streak:
He started swimming at 14 and was so good he made the team for the 1960 Olympics in Rome. But in a massive plot twist, he crashed his Lambretta scooter just days before he was supposed to get in the water, completely ruling him out of the games.
He clearly bounced back, though—he now holds an MBE for his services to swimming and is an official member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
As for what’s next, he has zero plans to stop. He is already looking ahead to his next ambition: a second world championship.
