Motorists in the UAE can now get ready for the latest fuel prices set to take effect from July 1, 2025.

After a brief period of price increases in June, fuel prices are seeing a slight rise again this month. But don’t worry, the changes are still manageable. In June, petrol and diesel prices remained the same as in May, with the previous month witnessing a small uptick after two months of steady declines. While there were concerns earlier in June about the possibility of higher prices due to global oil price surges amid geopolitical tensions, the latest announcement offers some clarity.

• Super 98 petrol will cost AED2.70 per litre, up from AED2.58 in June.

• Special 95 petrol will now be AED2.58 per litre, compared to AED2.47 last month.

• E-Plus 91 petrol will be priced at AED2.51 per litre, up from AED2.39 in June.

• Diesel will cost AED2.63 per litre, compared to AED2.45 last month.

These changes are in line with global oil prices, which have seen fluctuations, especially following the outbreak of conflicts in the Middle East and subsequent actions involving US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites. While prices may be higher than a few months ago, they’re still in line with global market trends.

A Look at UAE’s fuel price history

It’s important to note that the UAE’s fuel price system has been deregulated since 2015, meaning that petrol and diesel prices are revised every month based on global oil market conditions.
