Restaurants and cafes in Abu Dhabi have been permitted to remove curtains and partitions during Ramadan, according to The National. In the beginning of Ramadan, all restos and cafes were required to cover their premises but that rule has been relaxed now in Abu Dhabi.

All coffee shops and restaurants have been asked by authorities to do so mainly because most places are open during the day time in Ramadan, which is why Abu Dhabi has eased up it’s rules slightly.

Residents are still encouraged to be a little careful because eating out in the streets and open spaces is still a fine of AED2000.
