A Historic Meeting Between The UAE And China Took Place Today And Burj Khalifa Marked The Occasion

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE’s Armed Forces, was welcomed to Beijing in grandiose fashion, during a three-day state visit.

Accompanied by the UAE delegation, red carpets were rolled out as China’s President Xi Jinping welcomed the UAE leader and his delegates in the best way possible.

This trip has indeed highlighted the 35-year-long friendship between the two nations and is proof of how much stronger the bilateral relations have become.

There’s been optimistic hype about the visit- since it’s a great show of the friendship between the UAE and China

Red carpets were rolled out, while China’s military forces welcomed His Highness in full form, and locals performed theatrical and traditional Chinese shows.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was also there to see the MoU signing and agreements.

MBZ was also awarded the highest degree that’s awarded to senior leaders

Diplomatic meetings, entertaining performances celebrating both cultures, and a prestigious Chinese university degree awarding- a lot took place in the span of those THREE days.

Singha University awarded His Highness with the professorship, considered to be the highest form of degree that is awarded only to senior leaders, recognising his support to advance science, technology and innovation.

 

Burj Khalifa also lit up in honour of the visit

The world’s tallest tower commemorated the visit on Monday night with a photo of both leaders. A hashtag even sparked the net, clearly showing the peoples’ excitement for the China-UAE friendship.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced a statement about having met Xi Jinping in a tweet:

“Today, I am pleased to meet with my dear friend Xi Jinping, President of China. We share common aspirations, ambition, a vision of investment in human capital and envisage a future of safety, peace and stability worldwide. The UAE and China are moving towards a promising future.”
