Abu Dhabi Has Announced A New Child Protection Policy

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, is serious about protecting kids.

At a recent council meeting, he endorsed a new Child Protection Policy that aims to provide support for families and caregivers and create a nurturing environment for children.

The policy was developed by the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority in collaboration with various entities and promotes fairness, non-discrimination, and rapid response capabilities to cases of abuse or negligence.

Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed made it clear that he’s putting kids first

He emphasized the importance of providing all forms of support and care for the early childhood ecosystem and highlighted that priority should be given to engaging children in programs and activities that equip them with life skills and enhance their resilience.

He also said that efforts should be directed towards developing educational programs to raise awareness among families and parents about the physical, psychological, and social difficulties and risks that children may face.

Investing in early childhood is a top priority for Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed.

He believes that providing a healthy environment in which to raise children, protect their rights, and preserve their wellbeing is essential for equipping young people with the skills to lead the nation.
