If You Fear Heights, This New Abu Dhabi Attraction May Not Be For You!

Abu Dhabi’s World Trade Center Mall (WTC Mall) breaks a new regional record with “Velocity”.

With a length of 68-metres and 54-metres respectively, the new “Velocity“ stainless-steel slide, which breaks the regional record for “the longest and tallest stainless-steel slide in the Middle East“ as of two days ago.

The two new tube slides, were delivered to the capital by the German manufacturer Wiegand, wound from the top floor to the ground floor, and can be used by visitors who are at least 110 centimetres tall.

Experience Speeds Of Two To Three Metres Per Second!

The attraction’s visitors will get to experience speeds of two to three metres per second during their slide ride. The first slide number is an enclosed stainless-steel tube slide with interior LED spotlights. The second is a transparent slide, which allows mall goers to get in on the action from the outside in and also features 8 light-changing double LED light rings that illuminate its interior.

Note that you must be 110 centimetres or taller to experience “Velocity” and the price for one slide is Dhs15 or Dhs25 for two slides.

You can visit “Velocity” between the hours of 10am to 10pm on weeknights and from 10am till midnight on weekends with round the hour surveillance to ensure the safety of all riders.
