On Monday, August 29 at 9:30 am, Abu Dhabi Police announced the fire. They also informed the public that officials are on the scene.

Additionally, they tweeted in English and Arabic as seen below:

“Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams are currently dealing with a fire that broke out in a warehouse. In the Musaffah area, Abu Dhabi City, this morning. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident. The public is urged to follow information from official sources only.”
