After riots broke out at the Al Ain vs Al Wahda Football match Yesterday, The Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution has emphasized that individuals who sparked the riots and broke laws and regulations will be penalized in accordance with established legal procedures.

Officers have emphasized the importance of good sportsmanship among club supporters, as well as not endangering the lives and safety of others.

In order to protect, and ensure the safety of society’s members, the UAE legislation mandates the protection of all individuals and imposes harsh penalties for violating certain laws and regulations in situations such as riots.

Riots broke out yesterday at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi after the match between Al Ain vs Al Wahda, in which Al Ain won 1-0.
