AED23.3 Million Number Plate Was Sold Last Night In Aid Of The 1 Billion Meal Initiative

The reputable auction was held last night in Abu Dhabi where the most exclusive car number plates were sold! Proceeds from the ‘Most Noble Numbers’ event will go to the One Billion Meals initiative which aims to provide food for those in need across 50 countries during Ramadan and beyond.

Abu Dhabi’s exclusive car plate ‘2’ was sold for AED23.3 MILLION

A total of AED111 million was raised in bids for rare licence plates and exclusive mobile phone numbers

So far, more than AED400 million has been raised. Other plates that were sold at the auction were 11 with code 2 for AED5 million;20 with code 2 for 4.25 million, and 99 with code 1 for AED5 million. The 3 digit number plate 999 with code 2 was sold for AED1.7 million to Dubai-based real estate boss Hong Yang.

Etisalat’s Diamond mobile numbers collectively sold for AED419K. Some of the most expensive numbers were 547444444 which sold for AED160,000 and 567777722 for AED100,000.

Du’s special numbers were sold for AED601K and the most expensive were 586222222 for AED150,000 and 581111114 for AED130,000.
