Before you pack your bags and book that flight ticket, don’t miss the following Abu Dhabi travel requirements:
As of 26 February of this year, you are no longer required to get tested before you fly to Abu Dhabi if you are fully vaccinated.
If you are not fully vaccinated, you must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours, or a COVID-19 recovery certificate. Your recovery certificate must be dated within 30 days of departure and have a QR code. Children under 12 are exempt.
Al Hosn App’s validity will be reduced from 30 days to 14 days. The update will be activated for all categories from June 15. However, for those who work in the educational sector and students, their app will update from June 20 due to their association with the examination period.
Tourists and unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals can now obtain the green status on #Alhosn app! For more information about the updated protocols, please visit the support center on your Alhosn app. pic.twitter.com/AdTs3khXAR

There are no longer border requirements for those entering Abu Dhabi from Dubai, other emirates, or countries. You will no longer need to show an Al Hosn green pass to enter Abu Dhabi and EDE scanners will no longer be used.
You will need to show an approved COVID-19 vaccination certificate that contains a QR code*
The Abu Dhabi green list was also recently nulled, meaning you no longer have to quarantine when flying into the emirate.
Those who have the crossed-out syringe symbol will have green status for 30 days and do not need to do PCR tests to retain it during that time. After 30 days, you will need a negative PCR test every 14 days to keep your green status.
