Ever since the UAE released the 10-year Golden Visa, people in and out of the UAE applied to get it. Recently, the UAE Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) increased application fees for the 10-year Golden Visa from AED50 to AED150.

The price of the application fee for the Golden Visa tripled from AED50 to AED150

The revised fees includes the Authority Fee, Electronic Service Fee and Smart Service Fee.

Below are the 5 steps required to submit your application:

1. Fill in the required information and attach relevant documents
2. Submit application
3. Pay the fees
4. Receive the service
5. Wait for the transaction confirmation to be sent to your email

**The fee mentioned excludes the Medical Examination Fee, Insurance Fee, and Emirates ID Fee.

The UAE implemented the Golden Visa system in 2018

The Golden Visa is a long-term residence visa, for 5 or 10 years. Additionally, it is automatically renewed for people who fall into any of the following categories.

The categories include:

• Investors
• Doctors
• Entrepreneurs
• Scientists
• Creators
• Inventors
• Researchers in various branches of science, technology and innovation
• Outstanding students

One of the most important requirements of the visa is providing a passport photo

The general requirements for a United Arab Emirates visa visa photo are as follows:

• It must have been taken within the last six months.
• It must be 43×55 mm, or 300×369 px.
• It must have a gray background.
• It must be high quality and reflect your true appearance.

Additionally, the photo must follow the size requirements:

• Printed photos must be 43x55mm
• Online photos must be 300x369px
