Two Baywatch Stars Got Embroiled In The Bogus Dubai Website Scam

It looks like the website which nearly scammed Dog the Bounty Hunter out of AED1.5 million attempted to pull the same tricks on former Baywatch stars.

How the offending website is still in operation is mind-boggling.

Donna D’Errico and Krista Allen, both stars of the TV cult classic series Baywatch were offered a whopping AED1 million to come to Dubai for an appearance in July, according to TMZ.

The offer allegedly came from the office of a UAE Sheikh.

Former Baywatch babe Donna D’Errico was reportedly nearly duped by the scam

Comedian and former Baywatch star Krista Allen was also embroiled in the fraud

In return for a short appearance in Dubai, the ladies were simply asked to make a donation to a charitable website

The stars were contacted to speak at an economic empowerment convention for small business owners, however, as soon as the forms were signed, they noticed suspicious behaviour.

The event organisers had difficulty wiring the money and soon after asked for a sizable donation to the Sheikh’s charitable fund.

A phoney website was even created which claims to be linked to HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Like Dog The Bounty Hunter, the ladies soon realised the fast paycheque was too good to be true and both declined the offer
