Another LEVEL UP for Dubai!

Cable-car-like systems will soon be seen across the city as part of efforts to turn 25% of all trips in Dubai to a self-driving mode by 2030.

This was announced by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), as they are looking to develop an urban ropeway system, that’ll work towards integrating and connecting to a city’s existing inter-modal transport network.

This project, namely CABLINE, will be developed by RTA in collab with French mobility specialist MND, a leading company in the ropeways industry and the aim here is to offer a completely new experience for aerial transportation to Dubai-ites and tourists.

CABLINE will be a fully automatic, driverless transport system, with self-propelled cabins and an overall aesthetically pleasing look

The upcoming transportation system will also be quieter and more energy sufficient than conventional ropeway transportation.
