The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (Adafsa) have ordered the closure of a restaurant in Al Hayer Area in Al Ain for violating Law No. 2 of 2008 regarding food safety and repeating those violations.

The officers reported the management didn’t store and serve food in a hygienic environment, thus posing a threat to public health and safety.

The authority came to the closure decision as a result of the repeated high-risk violations that affect the safety of the food. The establishment also failed to take effective corrective measures. Improper thawing of food can lead to spoilage, which was the case at this restaurant. They also inspected the kitchen and found flying insects in the kitchen.
