Fabulous news for cruise ship passengers and crew en route to Abu Dhabi! The Department of Culture and Tourism announced that passengers and crew do not need to present a Green Al Hosn Pass in the capital.
The DCT announced a COVID-19 update for cruise ship passengers and crew
The announcement stated that passengers and crew entering Abu Dhabi do not need a Green Al Hosn Pass to enter. Moreover, they do not need to present a Green Pass to enter tourist attractions, public spaces, and malls.

On top of not needing to present a Green Pass, passengers and crew do not need to wear masks around the capital
Since the UAE updated their COVID-19 restrictions, the country has removed the mask mandate. Hence, passengers and crew do not need to wear masks in tourist attractions and public spaces. However, passengers and crew do need to wear masks in hospitals and on public transport such as buses and taxis.
