Major Road Closures In Abu Dhabi This Saturday

Runners, motorists and all those planning to move about the capital city this Saturday, it’s time to plan ahead. Last Night, the Integrated Transport Center announced the plan for major road closures in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

This Saturday is the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon and 8 phases of road closures to accommodate the runners

The ITC announced that the closed roads are to ensure the safety and smooth movement of the marathon runners this Saturday. Furthermore, below are the 8 phases, locations, and timings of the road closures in the capital city.

1. The road near Emirates Palace – 12am-9am
2. Corniche – 2am-1pm
3. Bateen – 4:30-7:30
4. Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street – 5am-9am
5. Near Sheikh Zayed Mosque – 5:45am-9:30am
6. Sheikh Rayed Mosque road – 6am-9:50am
7. Sultan bin Zayed The First – 6:10am-11am
8. Road near Al Wahda Mall to Al Hosn – 6:15am-12pm
