For the second year in a row, Abu Dhabi is bringing the world’s top female tennis players to the capital. So, mark your calendars for 9 days of adrenaline pumping matches on February 3-11.

10 of the World Tennis Association top 20-ranked players are set to compete in Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2024

This is the second edition of the tournament, held in collaboration with Mubadala and presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council. Get ready to witness intense matches including British sensation Emma Raducanu, Tunisia’s World No. 6 Ons Jabeur, and Brazil’s World No. 11 Beatriz Haddad Maia. Additionally, joining the lineup are more WTA top 20 players. These players include Jeļena Ostapenko, Liudmila Samsonova, Daria Kasatkina, Veronika Kudermetova, and Caroline Garcia.

Steven Simon, Chief Executive Officer, WTA, stated:

“The field for this year’s Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open is packed full of talent and we are looking forward to another fantastic tournament. Abu Dhabi was the perfect location for last year’s inaugural event, which produced some fantastic entertainment both on and off court.”

This tournament includes a few qualifying rounds that’ll give 6 players a chance to earn their spots

Other than these qualifiers, 4 wildcard slots are up for grabs. However, the one and only Emma Raducanu, the reigning champ of the 2021 US Open, claimed the 1st wildcard slot.
