Abu Dhabi Police released shocking footage of an accident in the middle of the road. The accident happened due to a driver stopping in the middle of the road.

Traffic law states that if officials catch drivers using their phones or distracted on the road, officials will fine the drivers AED800. Additionally, police will give drivers 4 black points.

As part of AD Police’s “Your Comment” campaign, they released this shocking footage to raise awareness

Officials are using this campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of stopping in the middle of the road and being busy while driving.

Driver’s out there, stay safe and vigilant on the roads! Officials urge motorists to NOT stop in the middle of the road. Instead, they are advised to stop on the side of the roads if they must stop.
