Anyone with a driving license knows the rules of the road. Follow the speed limit, stay in your lane, use your indicators, and most importantly do not be a distracted driver.
In the UAE, the right lanes usually consist of trucks, buses and those who prefer to drive slower than the speed limit. So, if the road’s speed limit is 120km/h the minimum speed limit for trucks and buses on the right lane is usually 60km/h – 80km/h.
Therefore, in the video below the motorist who caused the collision was a distracted driver. Easily visible in the way he went head-on without realising that the car ahead of him was driving slower than the speed limit.

That’s not all, these drivers also receive 4 traffic points against their licenses. Abu Dhabi Police release these videos to inform the public of the dangers of distracted driving, speeding, overtaking on the wrong lane, etc.
